Meet the Cast

 

 

    Michael Sanchez - Joey Tucci

A native of Long Island, Michael has been part of the theatrical universe for more than twenty years as an actor.  He made his writing and directing debut in 1992 at age 18 with The Confession at the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, Pennsylvania and has not slowed down since.  After graduating from the film and television program at Penn State University in 1996, he continued his passion for writing and directing with various short films including his award-winning senior thesis film Wraith.  In 2001, he co-authored the hugely successful Milton Hershey - The Play which performed to sold-out crowds in Harrisburg, Hershey and Lancaster.  He is honored to have such a talented, wonderful cast joining him for the return of Tuxedo Joe

 

 

    Jody Lazorcik - Peg Mendoza

Jody has appeared in numerous plays at the Lebanon Community Theater.  She has also performed with other area companies and a few independent films.  Her most recent role on the theatrical stage was Kitty Hershey for the PA Historic Dramas presentation of Milton Hershey - The Play at the Fulton Opera House in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  Her favorite role, however, is mommy to wonderful 10-year old daughter Jill.  She is honored that Mike Sanchez asked her to do this play and she loves working with such a talented cast, especially her husband, Mike.  She thanks God for all of the blessings in her life and dedicated this show to loved ones who have struggled with mental health issues.

 

 

    Jenna McBreen - Elizabeth Gates

From a young age, Jenna has made the stage her second home as an accomplished actress, singer and dancer and choreographer.  She has appeared in leading and supporting roles over the years in such productions as Oliver, Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music, Plaza Suite, Nunsense and most recently Picnic.  In May of his year she graduated with the distinction of class valedictorian from Schuylkill Haven Area High School where she also served as drum major for the award-winning Hurricane High School Marching Band.  This fall, she will continue her passion for theatre when she begins her freshman year at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. 

 

 

    Michael Lazorick - Harry Blake, Dr. Lineweaver

 

Michael is a full-time civil engineer with DEP in Harrisburg and part-time thespian hoping to become a full-time thespian and a part-time engineer.  He is pleased with be working with his wife, Jody and Michael Sanchez again after working together on Milton Hershey - The Play.  Michael has performed with Lebanon Community Theater, Hershey Area Playhouse, Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire and Ephrata ACT.  In addition he has been involved in numerous independent films including the recent, highly-acclaimed documentary Rough Cut for director Todd Klick which was featured on NBC's Dateline and later screened at the 2006 Phoenix Film Festival.  Michael hopes everyone enjoys this amazing, poignant play.

 

 

    Peg Mellinger - Dr. Rachel Stevenson

The cast and crew of Tuxedo Joe is thrilled to have Peg Mellinger join the production team.  Born and raised in Lancaster County, Peg landed her first role as Mrs. Gibbs in the timeless classic Our Town with Brecknock Little Theater.  She has also performed with Ephrata ACT and the Fulton Opera House  for a production of The Grapes of Wrath.  She returned to the Fulton stage in 2003 as Kitty Hershey during the successful run of Milton Hershey - The Play.

 

    Mark Douglas Cuddy - Mr. Gingrich

Mark’s theater experiences include stints with Ephrata ACT, Hershey Area Playhouse, Lebanon Community Theater, PA Historic Dramas, and Theatre Harrisburg.  In 2001, he was cast as Uncle Abraham in Milton Hershey - The Play: a role he would reprise in each of the show's sold-out performances.  Favorite venues include the Whitaker Center, Founders Hall, the Allen Theater, and the Fulton Opera House. He is extremely pleased to be performing with this very talented cast and would like to thank his family and friends for all their love, support, and encouragement.

 

Timothy Corr - Peter (photo coming soon)

Born in Long Island and raised in Pennsylvania, Tim recently performed in productions of Dracula and Arthur Miller's The Crucible for Palmyra Area School where he will be entering his senior year.  When he is not acting he can be found working extensively with computers and digital video and is also a part-time employee at Hershey's Chocolate World.
